Dear Weather – Thank you for the cold spirts! We have put our fire place to great use this week.  I would like to lay in the sun this weekend! High 70s with no wind and lots of sun sounds GREAT!
Dear Nails – you will be painted for the next few months ! I have to STOP biting you ! I refuse to have fake nails on !
Dear pups – I don’t know what’s wrong but you guys have to stop throwing up ! Especially  in the middle of the night … You have me a little concerned !
Dear Wedding – As of today we have 49 days to go ! I have been working on the seating arrangements and they can be a pain in the neck ! Aye yay yiii !
Dear seminole county Clerk of court – many thanks to you not being busy when we came to get our marriage license! You may want to add a policy for your employees to smile more often! Getting you marriage license is supposed to be fun and exciting ( at least to me ) , not dull, boring and annoyed like your employees act !
Dear Friday – Your here ! It was a fast week, no complaints … Just stay awhile!

Dear Warm weather - I love you , but your too early. Your confusing all the plants and flowers causing EVERYTHING to bloom to early….making me miserable. {Sniffs}

 

Dear Tax season – Why hello! We meet again. Please be gentle and kind. Thats all. I. ask!

Dear Wedding-  We have NINETY ONE days , 14 hours, 38 minutes (…and counting) to go.

Dear Phone Upgrade: YOU ARE FINALLY HERE! I am really tired of using my broken iphone ( that i did not do , Karma i suppose). Bring it on Iphone5 … I already have a case for you!

Weekend Randoms

Man, Oh, Man where did this weekend go.

Florida was expecting to have rain all weekend. We did get alot of rain, however it was not enough! While on most Saturdays we have people over and lay by the pool, this Saturday because of the weather we had friends over and played board games instead! We had a great time. I honestly have not laughed so hard in a very long time! I hopefully will be filling our closets with board games ! That’s for sure !

My friend crystal came down to Orlando for a family birthday party that was today ! I offered her and her fiancée to stay at our place so we could have a quick visit ! I quickly found out that she wanted to me to be her MOH ;) I love weddings ;) and can’t wait to have one of my own ( hopefully soon )

I love salt. My family even makes fun of me by saying I need to purchase a salt lick! Anything flavored salt and vinegar is my kind of snack . The other day during lunch I ran into CVS to pass time and while wandering through the store I found some salt and vinegar almonds. I was so excited and my mouth started to water immediately! They were different but yumm-oh

Last, but not least of my weekend we had a new addition to our family. We have been searching for the perfect one for quiet some time , and this one just fell into our laps. Friday afternoon we spent some time purchasing my new car ;) we actually had this car shipped from Tampa hoping it would be the perfect fit for our family ! It’s equipped with all the bells and whistles any one could ask for . I was sad to let my little coupe go , but definitely needed a larger vehicle . Asking our neighbors numerous times to borrow their SUV can become embarrassing!

A little of EVERYTHING

I have totally been slacking on cooking new recipes lately, I do have a recipe
I will be doing tomorrow … Only if my mom purchased the ingredients I requested ;) thanks mom ! Hopefully I will have something to post about this soon !

As I blog, I am on the way to visit my fam(ily) in good ole’ Tallahassee…I am hoping to catch a few friends while we are there also ! And snag a boat trip from my parents ;) Lola is such a pleasant travel buddy !!

I swear this week seemed like the longest week everrrrr ! So thankful it is over … We had a 95degree day today . Blehhhh!!! hopefully Tallahassee won’t be as hot ( wishful thinking )

In the midst of cleaning a patients teeth today , I was thinking of how similar keeping up with your body was very similar to car maintenance.. SO RANDOM .. I know I know .. If you don’t clean your teeth , it effects your heart.. Blah blah blah… If you don’t get oil changes it effects the motor .. Blah blah blah …I even said I wouldn’t post this on my blog due to how random my thought was … Oh well..

I totally forgot… I am back in school to get my BS and hopefully heading to grad school !!! ( who would have thunk it ;D ) I am running full force and very excited actually !

Don and I are getting excited for the month of may ! We are taking our first vacation in the longest time ! Totally needed ;)

Enough of the random ‘everything’ post for the week ! I ll get back on my blogging game shortly !

Spring….What? When? Where?

I know I recently stated that I LOVE APRIL … especially because of the weather. Well… I love April weather when its 60s, 70s, and even low 80s. Spring and Fall weather is just delightful. Unfortunately, in the state of Florida we barely have two season… Summer and Winter. Winter is even stretching it a little. I think Spring came for one day and left… not even enough time to enjoy it.. It is already in the 90s here in Central Florida. phew…. I just got back from a bike ride, and over half way through the ride, I was huffin’ and puffin’… good thing i am working out right?

As soon as we were finishing the last little bit,  Don said “Man, this heat sure is making it harder to ride!” With joy, I said ” Your feeling it to?”

Last night we finally gave in to closing  the windows and turned on the air conditioning…. its ONLY April 4th… Ask me in July how i am feeling… Ughhhhhh

Spoiled Floridians

Tonight Don and I decided to go grab dinner at a place with a nice outdoor dining area with televisions to watch this NBA Allstar nonsense ;0) It donned on me when it started to get a little chilly out ( 50 – 60ish degrees) how spoiled us floridians are!

As I pulled up my coat onto my shoulders the waitress asked us and the fellow diners wether we would like the heater turned on. Without a second to rethink, the heaters were turned on. I was thankful !

Most people in the northern regions think we are crazy and probably not thankful for this weather…as I wear flip flops and a short sleeve shirt in February!

Yes, i ll admit i am a spoiled floridian I am extremely thankful for this ‘cooler’ weather and not the 100+ degrees that is right around the corner.

It’s extremely nice to be able to sit outdoors and enjoy the weather ( with a little heat) in February ! Last year this time, I can assure you the temperatures were not this warm to enjoy !

I am happy to live in Florida !
